Private View for St. Catherine's Exhibition

There will be a private view of the exhibition of Paul Barter's work at St Catherine's School on Friday 18 November from 6-8pm. You are very welcome to attend.

New exhibition of work at St Catherine's School, Bramley

A new exhibition of work drawn from private collections will open at St Catherine's School, Bramley, Surrey from Monday 21st November. It runs until Thursday 8 December and is open weekdays during normal school hours. The exhibition has been brought together by Verity Vinen, a former student of Paul's and now Head of Art at St. Catherine's.

A retrospective exhibition celebrating the life and work of Paul Barter painter, sculptor, and teacher, who throughout his life inspired so many.

Lifetime Inspirations celebrates the life of Paul Barter through an exhibition of an extraordinary body of art works including large paintings, drawings, welded, cast and constructed sculptures and a large collection of delightful sketchbooks left to family and friends after his untimely death last year.  Paul’s work reflects his passions for travel, geology, drawing and meeting people, which he passed on to the thousands of students he taught over a long and distinguished teaching career as Head of Art at George Abbot School, Guildford.   

A simultaneous exhibition of Paul Barter’s work is being held at the George Abbot School Gallery.
